its been very stressful since having my daughter who is now 18 months as i also have my son who is 4 my partner isnt very helpful he does work long hours but could have helped more. About six months ago he started to go out every weekend i tried to let me have his "own" space but it became obvious something wasnt right we hardly spoke we had a big rowl i told me to go and he did which shocked me, he went to his mums he soon missed the children but something wasnt right i eventually found hes been seeing someone else he hasnt admitted it but the evidence was there he begged me back i tried but whatever we had is gone he just wants house and kids not me. What do i do know i work a few days a month as a receptionist but thats it he pays our mortgage amd everything else i put a large deposit on house but what the hell can i do now..i cant let my babies loose our home and their dad i could sell my car to keep me going for a bit but i guess i need to find a job asap any advice welcome xx

Speak to Citizens Advice Bureau about what you can do, to see which benefits you are entitled to etc. It's hard right now, but you will be fine. My sister went through a similar situation, and things were tight but she managed, as will you Thanks

With your children under 5 you will get lots of financial help and can make sure your ex contributes via the CSA. Search for Turn2Us or entitledto and use their calculator to give you an idea of what you can get. It will reassure you that you don't need him to be able to survive. It is better if you're renting as you can't get housing benefit in a mortgaged house, but you'll still get plenty of help.

Good luck and post on here with any details so that those who've been there can guide you through it.

How you doing today Vees? Have you had a look on those websites? Someone also suggested Gingerbread to me, but their phone is always busy. You can get some handy downloads from their website though.
