Does anyone know of any books of explaining an absent parent to their child

My DD and I have just started broaching this subject. I would like a book that would help to explain but have found it hard to find any, any ideas?

No but.... You might consider writing a book yourself for your DD to keep and read by herself that explains the situation in an age appropriate manner. It depends on how create you are and what the circumstances are.
