Hi pips

Anyone know anywhere for single parents to make new friends in the wirral area ?

Kind of find myself in a situation where all my friends are married living happy lives and I'm still on the shelf and my social life has took a massive nose dive looking to meet new single friends who I could have something in common with

Hope to hear back with with some positive messages over and out x

Hi belinda. There might be a gingerbread group near you - the info is here

You just put you postcode in and it will show you any local groups.

I'm a newly single parent in Chester. H only moved out a month ago. Finding the evenings very lonely.

Hii its kinda reassuring that I'm not the only lonely one. I have a 9moths Bby n a lot of my friends distant them selfs once I had my bby. I am now no longer with my bbys dad so nights and weekends get lonely. I dnt knw n e 1 with children so tke my bby local nursery to interact as much as she can, hopefully we can both make some friends there. Unfortunately were not in the same area you should try out local children centers n things.

You should sign up to City Socializing - its a really neat website where you can meet people just like you looking to meet new people. You sign up create a profile and who youre looking to meet and exchange a few e-mails!

I'm a single Mum too in the Wirral area. I'm lucky that I have some good friends but some weekends are spent just with my son, which is fine but would be even more fun with a friend. It would be nice to spend some time with someone who gets whats it's like to be a single parent, so if you are still single and would like to meet up let me know.
