Hey everyone. I'm new to this site and more of a lurker than a poster. Was just looking for advice and support from other lone parents.

Im 26 and have the most beautiful DS he is my world. I was with his father for 2 wonderful years until 3 weeks ago he walked out on us and hasn't come back.

DS is nearly 5 months and so far im coping quite well but at times its very stressful. Hope to be able to get to know you all and maybe recieve and offer advice.

If I was in that situation, im a line parent & kind of am. I wouldn't look back & get on with my life. You deserve better & don't need a low-life like that!

Hi, hope you are doing okay. I was in that situation in November and all I have to say it gets better and easier. I spent about 2 months crying all the time and then things just clicked and it wasn't so hard anymore, Did help that he turned into a complete and utter arse though LOL
