Internet dating.....????

I am a single mum to 3 DC and was going to give internet dating a try....but not sure which site is best.....any suggestions??? I did try POF a month or so ago but I just got weird/sexual messages from men so took myself off!! :)

I think they are all pretty much the same.
You get the good with the bad.
Oasis is another free site that was recommended to me.

I've just paid for match a couple of weeks ago - complete waste of money - I've never seen so many unattractive people in one place. Someone recommended okcupid and that doesn't seem too bad. I think as long as you take it all with a pinch of salt - at the very least it's good for a laugh. Some of the emails I've had are absolutely hysterical. [bugrin]

kerbear, I've just joined POF, you need to set the e-mail setting so that the one's looking for 'intimate encounters' , hang out or just casual can't message you :-) So far I haven't received any penis-pics at all! unlike my mate who's had a few I've got two dates lined up so far and a POF buddy who's to far away too date but seem's lovely! Much better selection than other sites I've been on browsed! :-)

I used to be on POF and it is ok as long as like missleithlemon said you filter your settings so that no one can contact who is looking for the stuff like "intimate encounter" " activity partner" " hookup" etc. I actually met a guy on GirlsDateForFree. I still have some guys as friends from POF who I keep in touch with and from GirlsDateForFree
