Dd woke me up with lovingly wrapped presents (mahoosive teddy, mug and card, which nanny obviously paid for Grin).

Ds woke around 12, hasn't come out of his room yet, spoke to me like a piece of shit when I called him. He's so lovely and polite to everyone apart from me, and wouldn't dare to speak to his dad like that.

I know, I know, teens.

But it's just ONE day a year. I don't claim to be the best mum in the world but I (unfortunately) know some very bad ones and even their teenage sons aknowledged the day.

Now i'm going to have to go to my mum's later and pretend i'm not upset so I don't ruin her day too.

Sorry your DS isn't treating you with the respect you deserve. How is his behaviour normally?

I don't really do Mothers' Day, so no big fuss here. It's not even Mothers' Day where my Mother is so, didn't even wish her a Happy Mothers' Day.

hi thefroggy

i am still smarting from yesterday. my dd liveswtih me and my partner, my ds lives with his dad and his partner ( he didnt want to leave his school and friends, and we are 1.5 hours drive) dd and partner made me breakfast inbed and bought me a lovely plant, i was taken out for lunch and had all ironing done which was lovely, nevertheless i got nothing from ds, and all i wanted was a card. ex said id get a present next weekend...........its not a present i want, just a little acknowledgment im still ds mum....... we have a really good relationship and talk every day...guess im more pissed off with ex because i wouldnt ever let a celebration pass without acknowledging it.. for the kids sake not mine...still like fanny said its only one day.
