So Valentine's Day. What should we do?

I saw that a cinema was having an anti-Valentines night and showing "Fatal Attraction" and that made me laugh.

It's a weird day in many ways. Very very tacking but it does bring home that one is single.

Last year, I bought heart shaped cookies for my children. This year, I am thinking of buying myself some jewellery and invited single girlfriends round to watch Single Mother movies. Eg: Erin Brockavitch and Hideous Kinky.

Any other ideas?

As a kid, we always had a heart shaped cake made on Valentines day.

Ignore it and don't instil the idea that it matters in any way in your children.

Thus saving them from future heartache, you see!
