Letter from Job Centre Compliance

I have had a compliance letter today, telling me I gave to go to the job centre next week. I had my IS 6 month meeting last week and confirmed that I was now getting DLA for my son and Carers for myself. (Last time I had applied for it and was waiting to hear.) Could this be the reason why?

I had this shortly after my first claim..its just a check to see if your claiming properly, you are who you sy you are etc..nothing at all to worry about :) they're trying to catch out the fraudsters :) xx

It's nothing to worry about, just take some ID with you. You'll be OK.

molepom · 18/01/2012 22:44

It's ok, they will just be double checking everything. They will gove you a ring in 6 months time just to make sure again.

ive had this 3 times in 7yrs

twice somebody had contacted the fraud line out of spite (my claim was legit)

third they said that they do ramdom spot checks

maybe not what you want to here but every time theyve been really good so i would say dont worry, could be because of the DLA claim and just checking details

feel free to ask me any ?????? if i can help

Someone rang the fraud line on me too and they asked why I was wearing builders trousers and safety boots. After I explained that the safety boots are for the course I'm on and are complusery, which they know about, and the trousers were cheaper than ruining my nice clothes and having to buy new.

They seemed happy with that, caled the college to confirm my attendance and the safty boots regulations and I havent heard anything since.

If you have nothing to hide, dont worry about it.
