My partner left me and my now 9month old daughter 3months ago. We're living with my parents still. I am now 19. At the moment i'm not getting on with my parents at all. Everything i say and do is wrong and they are constantly critisizing the way im bringing up my daughter. Its just too crowded in the house now so i really need to find somewhere to rent for me and my daughter. I work 16 hours a week so get working family tax credit. I was wondering if anyone knew if there is any help i can get with paying rent and bills and things cos so far people havent really been any help.

well you can apply for a coucil house/flat... but there will be a waiting list unfortunately!
some councils will pay your rent on a private rented property but it will only be up to a certain amount and some landlords aren't willing to take council tenants because i thinkj (def in this area anyway) that the council won't pay in advance

your best bet is to speak to the housing team of your local council
