I miss them so much

My kids are at their Dads. They have been there for a week and come back tomorrow afternoon.

I have missed the whole build up to Christmas with them. Ok I understand he is their Dad and he should get a share if Christmas too but DD aged 7 just emailed me. All she said was I miss you so much Mummy with a sad face and lots of kisses and now I am trying so hard not to cry. I miss DS too but it I'd DD who usually helps with baking and wrapping and likes to go to the Carol Service with me.

Thanks everyone - you have cheered me up and DH has been lovely. I spoke to DS and DD and they are ok now. They are really excited about Christmas - can't wat to see them tomorrow.

I hope you all had a lovely day. Horrible having to be apart from your children at Christmas. I am waving goodbye tomorrow for five days, and am dreading it. I've had such a lovely time with them over the past few days, and wish they were staying here with me rather than going off to be fussed over by my ex's family.

mine went yesterday to be with dad and family.and it hurts like hell....still they are happy(ish) DS said he hates travelling on xmas day....wish i was back working shifts.....

mine went to their dad's for a week from last Sun morning to yesterday morning, so we had our Christmas Day yesterday and they are now playing out on their bikes, this is the 2nd time they have been with their dad for xmas (4th year since we separated) and it does get easier.

mmy dd is at her dad now till 2nd of jan she went boxing day n i miss her like hell havent even put her toys away she got for xmas yet, so she can come back and have a good play! xx
