Today my ex husband called me to ask me, to tell him both of our daughters birthdates (this just made me laugh) but then he asked if we had given dd2 a middle name she is now 3 BTW and if could I tell him what it is

How could someone forget what name they have given their child?? It's part of her bloody identity. I know this may seem trivial but I hadto get my anger out somewhere and MN is the best place for me to do it.

my dad still doesn't know when my birthday is and i am 24

it wasn't the birthdates that bothered me it was the fact he couldn't rememeber wether his three year old had a middle name or not which is a part of who she is. I told my mother about it straight after and she said my dad was the same regarding birthdates but she couldn't understand how he could forget such a thing as one of her names when he rememebers DD1's. she said it's proberbly because he didn't have much to do with her when she was little and dd1 is his number one (he's the type to have favorites just like he was the fav out of him and his brother) Makes me so upset for her.
