Firstly, I hope everyone had a lovely christmas and new year, and if you didnt, well at least it's over for another year!
I don't know if i'm looking for advice or just want to hear of similar situations!
I've been seeing someone for the first time in nearly 2 years and the first time since having ds! Things are going really well, but obviously things are all so different from the single days!
He is also a single parent who has a ds living with him.
It all feels kinda weird, although i'm still in the blissful 'honeymoon' period!
Just would like to hear tips or stories from anyone elses 'first relationship' after a baby!!
as i'm feeling like a teenager with a crush!!

Good luck Hoolagirl !!!

No advice either, just wish I could meet someone too !!
Where did you meet him? The only single blokes I seem to come across are 50+ with about 5 kids. (Not that theres anything wrong with them, just I want someone of a similar age to me, 32, just for some fun).
Have fun and keep us all updated !!

The funniest thing is where i met him, i posted a thread called 'is it just this time of year that makes you feel a failure', I was at my neighbours house and came back feeling totally down and posted on here for support! Well he was at the party there with his boy and later mentioned to my neighbour he thought i was nice and i remembered him and thought the same!! Weird, but cool!!

Great news you must be so pleased. It's good he has a kid too hopefully he'll be much more sympathetic to the stresses and strains of parenting. My boyfriend still gets upset when he thinks I am 'putting my dd first'. He realises it is childish but still feels it and it's hard to reassure him as she does come first!
But anyway enjoy the honey moon period
