Whats the chance 'friend' is new girlfriend?

Because I really really want her to be! She drove up yesterday with ex to meet the girls and insited on door to door (ex prefers a nuteral meeting point an hour on a bus), was 5 mins early for collection and drop off (ex is normaly 30 mins late minimum) and gave me a full report when dropping off so I knew when DD1 had slept and what she had eaten. Normally when I ask ex for this information I get accuesed of not trusting him to look after the girls properly. It was so easy and relaxed and DD1 had a great day and loves 'friend' too :-) Ex told me they are just friends but surely you don't drive 2hrs to spend 5 hrs with a toddler to then drive 2hrs home again unless you are dating? Surely?

Sounds like a girlfriend.

That woman might end up being of great influence on your ex. :)

Fingers crossed for things to continue like this.

my ex had a girlfirend like this - it was absolutely wonderful for the year it took her to realise he was a nob and dump him. Grin

Ooh sounds good, and yes - definitely girlfriend.

My useless ex has a girlfriend like this. As soon as she moved in homework started being done, clothes were washed and returned, DD was well fed, bedtimes were kept to and other than the practicle stuff, DD is alround far happier and more relaxed. He does actually do some of the stuff but he does it because he wants to impress his girlfriend, which is fine by me as long as it gets done.

I have been waiting for 3 years for her to realise what an utter pillock he is but she seems happy so far and long may it continue!

The only thing is that i have been forbiden from contacting her. I'm not allowed her phone number and he will never let her be alone with me. Probably worried I'll let the cat out of the bag about his toolish ways - he needn't worry though as I don't want her to go anywhere Grin

My ex-H had a 'secret' girlfriend, who he said was just a friend and she was a god-send. Similar story, my son was well fed, had a lovely time, kept safe and taken to child friendly activities rather than the pub. I was gutted when she binned him, but not surprised. He couldn't hide the lies, gambling and drinking for too long.
