No don't think so.

What do you want to talk about ? Smile

bucketbetty · 04/11/2011 20:37

Hi Scary, how's it going? I'm up for a general chit chat. I'm having a glass of vino while my little dear is watching TinTin. No tv for me tonight!

fluffystabby · 04/11/2011 20:39

I'm watching Poirot and MNetting reading for my uni assignment.

My house is a tip but obviously I have mnetting an assignment to do so therefore I cannot tidy, right? Hmm

bucketbetty · 04/11/2011 20:48

God bless ya fluffy, I have many of those days. Actually, I often have those days. It's Friday night, assignments are absolutely not on and neither is housework. It will wait til tomorrow, life's too short. Ah, watching tv, it's a joy I rarely get. My DS hogs the telly constantly and then as soon as he's bored he wants to laptop, so I have to give up what I'm doing on the lap top and watch crap tv. It's Friday night, I'm single, I should be out enjoying myself and having fun. Instead it's wine, tin tin in the background and browsing mumsnet. Sad, very sad. I used to be so popular and outgoing! Sad

fluffystabby · 04/11/2011 20:51

I know exactly what you mean

The Upgrade is here tomorrow night though so there will be no tv watching for me Wink

girliefriend · 04/11/2011 20:51

Another saddo singleton here signing in, have a wend with pretty much nothing planned looming. God telly is crap tonight I am watching Far from Heaven (I have a feeling it won't end well!)

bucketbetty · 04/11/2011 20:57

girlie, we're not saddo's because we're single! In fact there are many many benefits. I've actually grown to love my weekends on my own, well not on my own, I have a 9 year old to keep me company. He only spends one night a month with his dad and even then he's back first thing in the morning, so I couldn't really do much even if I wanted to. I'm also bored with pubs and bars these days. I really can't win. Someone recommended Guardian Soulmates today but I really don't think I can be bothered with the singles scene. How about you guys? Any dating in sight?

fluffystabby · 04/11/2011 21:02

Well ...... I kind of had a toyboyfuckbuddy, which suited me grand

But he got Upgraded Grin

Although, if he doesn't answer the fucking text I sent him pretty soon he will be getting a downgrade Wink

ScaryFairy28 · 04/11/2011 21:02

Hi sorry suggested this then dd woke up. No chance of dating I'm staying single forever I actually love being single.

fluffystabby · 04/11/2011 21:03

And we don't really do the dating thing - he was definitely a fuckbuddy/friend with benefits so it was just a phone up when are we having sex kind of a thing.

Now we're "together" but we're actually pretty boring - we were friends first, and we just don't feel the need to go out dating or anything - he might bring a DVD and we'll probably get a take away.

pure dead rock'n'roll Grin

ScaryFairy28 · 04/11/2011 21:04

I'm trying to watch greys anatomy on tv duck but bandwidth gone to pot so I'll have to find something else.

ScaryFairy28 · 04/11/2011 21:07

Wow you are a lucky lady Grin

I enjoy being single too, but I've recently gone through a wind of change. It's been literally years now since I've done the do and if I don't do the do soon enough i'll be jumping the first male that shows me the slightest big of attention (that's seriously not a good thing) Grin I'm thinking about guardian soulmates, I hear lots of good things about it, but really I can't be bothered going through it all. I quite fancy one of the teachers at my DS' school but I don't even know if he's single. Every time he looks at me I look away - not really the way to encourage someone to approach me. Smile

fluffystabby · 04/11/2011 21:09

not so stealth boast

Grin
bucketbetty · 04/11/2011 21:10

fluffy, I think he likes you Grin

fluffystabby · 04/11/2011 21:11

I should add though, in the interests of full disclosure, that I like my own space. My bed my rules Grin

In the nicest possible way, I was a doormat and deferred to the ex all the time and I so am not going to make that mistake again

fluffystabby · 04/11/2011 21:12

Do you think so? Grin I hadn't noticed Wink he's very very sweet and totally easy going and very good for me you know?

bucketbetty · 04/11/2011 21:12

sadly we're on the most active section, clearly there's not a lot going on tonight. God that makes me feel lonely!

fluffystabby · 04/11/2011 21:13

Grin MN must be slow tonight

bucketbetty · 04/11/2011 21:14

I used to have a couple of friends with benefits but they gave up on me. I went through a period of not being very giving and wallowed in my own self pity. I couldn't do a young un again. I don't think! Okay, maybe after a few vino's.

bucketbetty · 04/11/2011 21:17

Right, I'm boring myself tonight so I'm off to get my lovely little man to his bed then I'm going to watch something adult like on tv. By that I mean not Tin Tin. Night all. Smile

ScaryFairy28 · 04/11/2011 21:17

Go for it you know you want a young one all keen and willing but not wanting commitment!

OP posts:
fluffystabby · 04/11/2011 21:20

I can highly recommend a younger man. They have stamina Wink
