Just had a call from my little boys school regarding his behaviour yesterday in class. Its all on the back of him not seeing his dad for a few weeks and he told the teacher that hes really upset and doesnt understand why his dad isnt coming to see him anymore! They were apparently having a talk in class about "what is your dad doing today at work" . How dare this man effect my sons school work! GRRRRR

School was in the wrong here. Any decent teacher would steer well clear of talking about specific relations. Loved ones is the catch all phrase.

Why is his dad not coming to see him anymore? What did the school do about dads that are out of work?
All seems a bit clumsy on their part.

I agree and think the school were to blame a little bit. His dad hasnt seen him for the past month really as we fell out and I told him we dont come as a package. I thought my little boy was ok but obviously its affecting him and Im now getting the backlash...
