Joint presents?

xH and I pooled resources and have bought some presents for our DD's from 'Mum and Dad'.

The same people (note, they've been demoted from 'friends' ) who said I give him too much access also think that this is wrong (confusing messages and other such blah).

DD's are 1 and 3 and xH and I are working on creating a reasonable level of amicability (which is extremely hard, many issues to overcome but if at all possible, worth it for the DD's, IMO).

In the future this may change (the present thing) but can anyone see any harm in it whilst the girls are so young, if at all?

I think it's lovely

It's really nice for your DD's and shows a mature and sensible approach to the whole thing...long m,ay it last

Well done you! Cant see any thing but positive in this. At least the DD's can see that even if their parents arent togehter it is possible for them to cooperate in a positive way. Far better than engaging in competitive gift giving. Hope you have a very happy christmas

I think this shows an amazing amount of love and commitment from the 2 of you to your kids, and that whilst you might be seperated, you are still very much working together as their parents

Ooh, teary eyed now! Thanks for your reassurance
