IMO he is lying
(always was quite devious/aggressive/abusive)
He left a voicemail to say he cant have DS this weekend, so i asked if he was coming to the end of term service tomorrow and he said yes he was.
I reckon he has mild symptoms of 'man flu', his voice on voicemail sounded quite normal to me. 
He has flu yet is fit enough to come to a cathedral service tomorrow.[sceptical]
I think he is a complete hypocondriac fraud ... Does he want a weekend as usual down the pub... ?
I feel so sorry for my son (10yrs) if he doesnt show up in church tomrw....all the other dads will be there...
