Saturday night - talk to another adult thread...

I can't be the only one sat in the house bored and craving adult conversation surely?

DS is 'camping' in the living room (he misses going camping since me and his dad spilt up but dad likes a drink and fully admits it wouldn't be appropriate to take him camping without me - and I don't drive)

I have just finished drying out the kitchen after DS flooded it trying to fill a watering can.

I have a job interview on Thursday, it has just occurred to me I have no suitable clothes!

I feel like everyone is out having a good time or snuggled up to husbands/partners, saturday nights always bother me more for some reason.

What's everyone else up to/ got happening?

Ooh I saw an article about rock choir in the news last week, it looks really good! I might be brave and see if they have it in my area....

I would like to do an evening course or something too but not viable childcare wise really.

The last two times I have been 'out' (as in a night out drinking) i have felt really awkward and was desperate to go home, despite being out with friends.

now child care in the evening is a complete pain... and non existent.
