Holiday 2012 anyone?

Just got back from our annual Haven holiday at Primrose Valley and having spent the last two nights as just me and DS (had a friend and her kids stay with us for first two nights) I am trying to think of ways of not being sat all alone next year!

So I thought, why not see if any other lone parents fancy booking same place and date. Smile

I am booked for Mon-Fri on 14th May 2012, its quite reasnably priced and you can spend what you want while you are there really. I choose this park every year as it's the biggest on this stretch of coast and it has public tranport links, great for non drivers like me. Anyone else fancy it????

Presumably you have preschool dc? You'll get more people being able to come if you pick the half term week, but the price will be higher off course...

No ds is 6 so school age, his school allow term time holidays on request at the headteachers discretion. She has said to me DS has good attendance on the whole and understands my reasons for taking him term time.

Lucky you. Not all head teachers are so accomodating.
Won't he be doing SATS tests next year though? If so they may not allow it quite so easily. You should check if it clashes before you book. Ds's primary school didn't allow any term time holidays in the term in which SATS tests are.

Hey WHO like gilly says, you would get more interest in the half term week. I can't take DS out, I would get fined! Am sure though there may be some with pre school DCs that will be interested.

Good Luck xx
