Customer Compliance Officer!

I have just received a letter from the DWP saying I have to come for an interview with a customer compliance officer. I have done some research but most state that it is about fraud.
Fraud, I have not done anything wrong to my knowledge. Friends have said it might be that someone has told them that my ex lives with me........ which is all lies. Yes my ex visits but that is because we have children together but he never stays over, justs visits most days after work and has them over his at the weekend. Sometimes he takes the kids to school in the morning on his way to work. I must admit he did stay over on christmas day but that was only because he had too much to drink and he would be over the limit.
The only other reason why I might have to go is because I missed a Work Focused Interview about a month ago. I never received the letters saying I had an appointment with them the only reason I found out was because my benefit got reduced and when I rang them to ask why, that is when they told me about missing the appointments. I have now been for this appointment and my benefit is now back up to normal.
Could this be the reason why I might have to go?
I cannot stop thinking that someone is out to make me seem like a bad person. Has anyone else been to one of these interviews before?

i had an interview with a customer compliance officer a couple of years ago, it was nothing to worry about she was just checking my claim and couldnt have been nicer. i too am a lone parent she just had a chat with me to make sure my circumstances hadnt changed and checked my bank statements etc, i also had to take id my passport and other letters/bills.

i think they just check things in a routine way from time to time, im sure its nothing to worry about, even if somebody had phoned saying your ex lived there just tell them the truth that yes, you do see him most days but that is so he can have contact/help out with your dcs as thats not against the rules, in fact the more the children see their dad the better!

im sure it will be fine best of luck

OK thanks for putting my mind to ease. I am not going to worry because I know have nothing to hide if it is anything to do with fraud.
