think i'm going to have to sell my car :(

it just failed mot,going to cost £400 to get it through,am seriously considering selling it then and doing without,cars are such a money pit,but what will life be like without?? hmmm.........

where do you live? in city or countryside
do you / can you cycle to work?

use the car to get out of town but cycle walk tube rail bus it into town, if you have public transport options it's okay, get food delivered?

sorn it and save over next few months?

i have considered getting rid of mine too. but decided against it for now,as semi rural and on my own with 5 dc

semi-rural here too,5 kids also,think i'm going to wait couple of mths to see how much i use/need it,the thought of no car for the summer hols scares me!!
