must be hard,we yearn for a bit of peace and quiet then when it comes it's a shock i imagine.

Lovre to have them refmum! Yes, you are up to here for years and don't get a minute... then rather a lot of minutes at once. Could've been a bit evenly spread out eh?

I've been an empty nester since September and it's disorientating, isn't it? I found the first few months quite lonely and it felt a bit 'pointless' doing things for the home when there was no-one but me there.

It's a few months on now and I have to say I'm loving it! I've enrolled on a few evening classes and taken up a new hobby and go to the gym regularly - the sort of things I used to wish I could do when the kids were here! I'm out of the house four nights a week and when I'm here alone, I love the quiet time and having the TV/PC to myself Smile.
