Would like to meet other single moms in Wimbledon area with kids of around 10.

Hi All

I am in my early 30's with 2 boys around 10, and am tearing my hair out at the fact that I've been here for 2yrs (from South Africa) and not made a single new friend with kids. All the friends I have are married and my kids school is very small and the other mothers are all married and I have nothing in common with any of them, not for the lack of trying tho....
I would like someone to go out with but also someone with the same age kids that we can all meet up and the kids can entertain themselves without always having to fork out money for activities.

Is there ANYONE out there like me????

Not sure whether I can help...but I;ve just set up a Single Parent website - it has holidays on it but I also hope to give single parents the opportunity to meet other single parents in the same area... it's new so dont expect lots of friends straight away...but its free and you dont have to pay to message other parents - and its a closed site which is appealing.... so send me a message and I'll send you the link - this applies to anyone else - nothing ventured nothing gained!

Alas I am just expecting my first but live in the Wimbledon area. There has to be more single women in our area. Or at leat I am hopping so.

Hi Darlingdamsel i'm sure there are loads, especially in Wimbledon and its a lot easier when your kiddies are still very small, it gets a bit harder when the kids are over about 8 or so.... Good luck with your pregnancy :)
