is social housing a good or a bad thing?

dilly what can i do about it, i constantly get brushed off to the point where nobody will discuss anything whenever i call. its like they read the same line from a script over and over and over!...very frustrating.

Can HA charge 2 people different rent for flats in same building??

I live in social housing as I cant afford to get a mortgage. Its ok and I never see my neighbours as Im out at work,the down side is you dont know the eare that well until youve moved in and
you cant always choose the area you get. Im sure its a bit the same with private renting though as I know people who have awful problems with neighbours. On the whole I like where I live but its not ideal. In the town where I live the problems seem to be caused by a few families who have never moved away and then they have kids who dont know any better...
