was about to start this in chat...but actually I dont really want to chat, just pissed off, If had the class teddy, its pissed down with rain all weekend, iv got an ear infection/chest infection.

been to the shops made a roast baked cakes, wote the bloody teddy diary, worked out how to and printed the damn photos of the damn teddy.....and realised an hour ago Iv got no farking clean school cardigans so now I have to wait up for the washing machine to finish and Im absolutly exhausted and have not spoke to one single adult this weekend.

rant over Im tired and cant stop coughing.

You can guarantee that the blinking bear will come home when you have either a totally hectic weekend that you really don't want to take a germy old bear that has slept with half the class along with you for OR you will get the bear when you are ill, doing nothing and have nothing at all to say in the diary.
I am sorry I can't help but I offer sympathy. Been there - not enjoyed.

I have also done the Sunday night wait for the washing machine so I can hang school uniform up for a Monday morning.

the bear is a disgrace to all bears. DD who is a bit of a clean freak, came out holding the bear at arms lenghth as she walked out the class on friday anouncing very loudly before she was out the door. "your going to have to wash it mummy", iv had to force her to smile sweetly for the pics then poor bear has been tossed aside with utter disgust once the pic were taken. bless her.

I have done us proud, we are the quinicential artsy crafty backing quant muumsy and daughter.

There was a brillaint thread along these lines a few weeks ago, and I only removed it from my watch list yesterday and now I can't find it! I can't remember if it was on _chat or AIBU

As well as the moaning there were some clever ideas. One person had photoshopped the teddy going to the moon and there were loads of other ideas on what to do (not all were completely appropriate! )

My DD brought home a case containing a bacteria testing kit, and all sorts of kitchen hygiene based tests. She's been swabbing all weekend.

I'd much rather have a manky old teddy, than CSI:Kitchen any day.

I was thinking of alternative diary entries last night once I logged off and had myself laughing. starting this thread cheered me up last night, even if just to vent how bloody crap I felt.
