Hello everyone. Im am updating my profile, as my circumstances have changed considerably. I became a single mum (left abusive live-in partner )4mnths ago now, with a now 10mnth old baby. And was wondering if theres many out there in the same situation?! As it can be very stressful and lonely. Especially when you dont have support from family and theres no support groups for us. Only mothers with Postnatal Depression, which doesnt always effect single mums, just cos were on our own. Im nearly 33 and lived with my ex for 3yrs on/off before plucking up the courage to get out for good, permanently. Now theres a child to think about. We had only known eachother for 4mnths before I left my parents, where i was living until I earned enough money/found affordable rented place after moving back to my hometown after living away due to a job. I was in two minds but thought Id try it. As soon as I moved in, his behaviour towards me changed.
I left for a few mnths when he hit me and i lost a baby. But made friend, went on hol and moved back due to my half-heated flat and lack of money/emotional support. Same again 2nd time, but kept my flat whilst staying at his wkends.
When I was about to have my baby I got rid, cos of water I wasn`t using I paid for etc. As soon as I had the baby, things got worse again. From the night before I was bringing my baby home.
