Found out the other day, that xp had been called into the dc's primary school by the head because another parent had complained that they saw him shouting and swearing at another child.

The child in question was the son of his on off gf, who's 2 dc are in the same school as mine, one being in the same class.

Not only that, but it was then put in the newsletter. They didn't name him obviously, just a general, shouting and swearing at children in the playground will not be tolerated.

I want the ground to open up and swallow me and my dc, but unfortunatly I am in a catch 22 situation and cannot do anything about it.

You don't have to feel bad about anything. It wasn't you that did this. It was someone else.

Don't let anyone try and make you feel bad. You are not responsible for the actions of another adult, you are responsible for yourself and any children you have who are under 18. End of. Smile

Oh no I know that, but people there know he is my ex, and my children have to go to that school, with their mates knowing what has gone on. I feel bad for them, especially dd2.

If anyone says anything to you, you can just shrug and go 'YEah, that's why I dumped him.' It's harder for the DCs though - just keep telling them that Daddy is silly sometimes and does bad things but it's not their fault and doesn't reflect on them.
