Hi just wondered if anyone elses DH, DP etc was in any of the services. My husband is in the Navy and I was just wondering if anyone else was in the same situation and if you fancied a chat xx

Not too bad my DD is a Jessica 2. My husband is due to go away on Monday for 2months we done 8months last year. How bout you??

well he's currently down graded - but working nights for 3 days this week, (we did a 6 month tour over this xmas just gone).

waiting on the promotions board coming out on thurs to see if we've been lucky!

I'm PG with my first due in march - where r u based? i'll try to find JM and see if she wants a chin wag as well.

Yep, Army wife here - bloody army!

DH is a chef, so not your typical army lad, but gets the same shit!!!

My Jessica is 14 months and im due to drop any day! (Raspberry leaf tea is cooling as i speak!)

yep - married quaters here are SHITE!

One room and tiny kitchen downstairs and 3 beds, seperate toilet and bathroom upstairs!

Im in Hilsea just moved from Eastney Im only in a 2bed flat tho its nice. Where is every1 else? Im moving in to a house Jan time x

hilsea - by the TA bases? (opp the coacha nd horses?)

i'm in wales at the mo, there's a huge naval base over in gosport- thats where most of them are, some in thorney (TA regt) marines are on thesea front area. all spread out really.

Yea I no my BIL & SIL lived in Rowner. And yea near the Coach and Horses ( how great of you to know by a pub!!) lol

lol - honney in my family it's how we locate places! lol. we live up by the portsdown inn in paulsgrove.

I thought they were selling all the white navy houses off down there? is it right they're re doing the hilsea roundabout? (so my nan tells me)

They started doing some stuff to it but nothing major. They have and are closing Copnor bridge off completely tho. Ive got to admit I usually know places via pubs never mind lol xx

are they really? I thought cosham had already gone about 3/4 years ago. don't think i'd want to live in eastney thou - is it still a nudist beach that end? lol!

nan did mention about copnor bridge - if they shut the hilsea round about off it's gonna be a stand still trying to get into town.

A lot of people I have spoken to live/d in Portsmouth. Its already a nightmare getting in to town there are more bladdey road works and building crap than that its unbelievable!

Oh nudest beach................. Yea Im afraid so. 1 of the reasons I moved lol. Ugly old men and woman with wrinkles yuck lol

did u really JM - I didn't know that- now then improtant question here - so think carefully! were u the posh end (ie by cams school) or the common end at henry court end?

I hate the bloody traffic lights they have where johnson and johnson's used to be (by the marriots hotel) - everytime I come home I try to avoid that - it's avooid it or run the speed cameras over the top!

hmm! - not up by the shops I hope! lol.

we were gonna move to catisfield, mum had her heart set on a house there but they couldn't get a big enough morgage (house was bout £200K about 15 years ago) would be worth a packet now.

lol - yes I moved cos of DH in the army - (well moved out at 17 to see the world - got as far as yorkshire and met DH! lol) went back for a spell whilst he was in training. but away again now - still looking for a posting to blandford to come home - I really miss it down there - althou after a week I remeber why I was soo keen to get out! lol.
