It sounds a bit low really.

TheVisitor · 09/01/2011 13:46

Depends on how old she is. I'd do a fixed sum, myself.

HattiFattner · 09/01/2011 13:54

round these parts its £5.

hairyfairylights · 09/01/2011 17:10

That sounds very low tbh

mankyscotslass · 09/01/2011 17:14

Round here its about £5 an hour

Actually, last time my friends used a baby sitter for a saturday night, from 7.30 til midnight, it was £30.

I think she said if they were later than midnight it would have been an extra £10 for every hour.

My daughter is 15 (almost 16) and has done a babysitting and first aid course, she charges £5p/h which I think is ok. £3.50 is a bit low

MrsS01 · 09/01/2011 21:52

really? ok, thanks x
