Hi mac.
What has happened other then what's on the other thread? Have you spoken to him?

macdoodle · 25/12/2010 18:59

Police been round sayaing he has reported a dangerous dog and wont return the children as he doesnt feel they are safe here.
The dog was wound up and reacted, not a dangerous dog at all.
He has no idea how to look after the children, he never has. Policeman was very nice, is on his way to speak to him now. My poor girls.

I see. The dog did actually bite your child though. If he's drunk then it's going to seem 1000 times worse for him. Where's the dog now?

macdoodle · 25/12/2010 19:03

The dog nipped her face :( We all calmed down and have been keeping them seperate. The dog is usually very calm and laid back and used to DD2, it was very chaotic here this morning with overexcited children and presents/paper etc. DD1 thinks she may have sat on him by accident.
He didnt even try to discuss it with me though.

He's drunk! Everything is 1000 times worse when you're drunk. Grown men turn up in A&E with a paper cut when they are drunk because they think they will bleed to death otherwise. He's not going to discuss it. It's irrelevant that the dog is normally laid back, he went for your child and the drunk ex is worried.

Have the police got back to you yet?

BelleDeChocChipCookieMonster · 25/12/2010 19:29

I have to go. I hope all works out OK.

Jellykat · 25/12/2010 19:53

What a horrible mess for you macdoodle! The dog isn't yours' tho' is it? It's your mums', so i presume its just visiting?

My golden retriever just nipped my DS2s arm, didn't break the skin, just a warning, as DS2 was winding him up something chronic, and wouldn't listen to my warnings!Reckon he will next time. It does happen!..
