Faaamily · 26/10/2010 22:35

Um, tell him you are so stupid you have accidentally deleted his number from your phone, and hang up.

Twat.

benbon · 26/10/2010 22:35

geraldinetheluckygoat · 26/10/2010 22:44

idiot, why would he say that?!?!? I do love BunnyLeBoowski's "Fuck-Knuckle" comment Grin

ValiumSkeleton · 26/10/2010 22:45

What an asshole. Don't whatever you do try to prove him wrong.

readywithwellies · 27/10/2010 11:25
Biscuit
Miggsie · 27/10/2010 11:27

Wow, the respect he has for you is awesome?!

Don't touch with even someone else's bargepole.

SolidButShamblingUndeadBrass · 27/10/2010 11:33

Boy I would have ripped him a new one. Starting with 'Well I'm sure I;m not the only one who is not stupid enough to consider having sex with YOU dickface!'

CheerfulV · 27/10/2010 21:46

Ohh, I went out with someone like this. His favourite phrase was 'all women are bitches!'. When I went back to his for the first time, I went out of the bathroom and back into his room, having been in the house a few minutes, and he began to play the opening bars of a song on his stereo to me. He said something about it being good, and I joked I'd heard him play the opening over and over through the wall, trying to set it up to be playing for my return. 'Wow, you really are a bitch, aren't you?' he smirked.
I should have left then. What a waste of three months or so! Fucking knobber.

RUN!!!

colditz · 27/10/2010 21:47

Don't meet him.

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 27/10/2010 21:52

Do you really need to ask?

benbon · 27/10/2010 23:08

well after 16 months of being single i havnt got a clue anymore lol... of course i will not be meeting him.. he is just another prize nobber :-)

OP posts:
OldLadyKnowsNothing · 28/10/2010 00:54

Well, you know if the next one says anything like "All women are...." to run, yes? Grin

Because if it's a "positive" statement (so strong, so independent etc) you know it's crap, because some of us aren't, and none of us are all the time.

And if it's negative... well, you already know, huh?

salizchap · 28/10/2010 20:48

Run!!!!! As fast as you can!

He must be either really stupid to make a sweeping statement like that, or he is a freak woman hater who likes belittling his partner in order to keep her under control.

valiumskeleton · 29/10/2010 11:22

Both I'd say. Stupid+woman-hater.

I'd love to have said calmly what even Marie Curie? Even Maria Geoppert-Mayer? Even Elizabeth H Blackburn? Even, your mUm?

RedHeels · 30/10/2010 19:04

I'd say: "So that makes me stupid too? Well I wouldn't like to inflict my stupidity on your person anymore." Or be really awkward/ curious and ask why does he think it is OK to insult you before even meeting you. I would like to know... (Well, insulting you after the meeting wouldn't be good either but you know what I mean...)

What did you say to him?

Asteria · 04/11/2010 21:51

urgh! sounds like my ex - who now refers to his DS as "the brat" and says that all women are useful for is procreation and recreation (he was a keeper!).

Life is too short my dear

as an aside - try My Single Friend, it seems to have the more genuine relationship orientated types on there - or if you are a rural sort Muddy matches is brilliant!
