Can I ask a question about match.com? Do you have to register before you can look around?
I would like to 'look about' as it were before paying any money.
I joined GSM with a free profile but had just about zero interest How awful!

Yeah you have to register but you don't have to pay to look round.

You do have to pay to contact though, is it me or is it quite expensive?

Yes you have to pay to contact. If you hold out for a bit they'll send you special offers. Still too expensive for me though.
And as they don't offer the filters I would want (I've asked them) I won't be paying.

They do sometimes have free weekends though.

Why pay for match? Get on Plentyoffish! Met my dp there, he is lush.

Agree match is expensive and not worth even registering tbh. POF much better (although be warned you will have to weed out the weirdo's!). I met some really good people on POF, some I'm still friends with, although met my DP totally randomly on FB!
