Hi, I'm new to the board and can't see anywhere that specifically is for introductions, so being a lone parent I thought I'd start here.
So hi! :)

Hi Bobski!

Welcome to LP, just dive into whatever takes your interest. We are a pretty supportive lot in this corner of the site Smile

Hi Bobski I dip in and out of LP ,theres lots on relationships too. Are you newly single ? How many dc do you have ?

Bobski2 · 22/10/2010 17:31

Thanks for lovely welcome. I've been single since my partner got ill a month before my DS2 was born (nearly 3 years ago).I'm still feeling a little isolated and nervous in real life (got to face it soon)but I need to start thinking about new relationships so I think mixing with other single mums is a good starting point.
I was with my former partner a long time, and the thought of dating again is terrifying, but like some one recently pointed out, it aint just going to happen by itself.
Has anyone here been sucesssful in finding love again after a long term relationship broke down?

Hi Bobski
I'm completely new too, so I thought I would say hello to you. I've been following the lone parent section for about a year, but I only just joined his week.

I haven't found love again - I'm too happy being single.
