The line that let me shut the door

I was dating this man a while ago; it was pretty on and off. I really fell for him but there were alarm bells (he didn't get on with my oldest eing one of them). We finally split after he wanted me to move the kids after years of upheaval from the one place they've really settled down and are happy. I said no, he wasn't content with a long distance relationship so it ended. I agonised over whether I had thrown away love..until.....he said he has to move on and will go out and find - and I quote - 'a dirty slapper who he can treat badly as he can't feel the same for any other woman he felt for me'...a dirty slapper??? Are women so insignificant to him that he has relegated them to that? In that one line I felt all my doubts disappear and knew I'd done the right thing.

Sounds like you had a lucky escape.

Hope you are ok now. :) You are well rid of him.

Well done you for trusting your instincts.

He should get mounted in a display cabinet in the Nobbers Hall of Fame.

Exhibit A: Bellendus Extraordinarium

Jesus he sounds a catch.

Oh man have you done the right thing.

Pity the next woman he is involved with.

ROFL at bellendus extraordinarum.

LOL @ Quodlibet...that made me laugh.
Lollipop, I am fine thanks. I'm enjoying life being single, so uncomplicated and easy going. But you do wonder don;t you, what if or what might have been? But that one line really made me lose the rose tinted specs.
