I get £5 a week between my 3 dc, which is taken directly from xp's jsa.

I have now started work and i'm not sure if I need to inform the csa or not.

Not that I'm an expert in these matters, but I don't think you need to inform the CSA of that. Why not call them to check.

Well done on the new job. :)

no. your empolmetnt stayts doesn't affect wagt your exp had to pay.

Congratulations on the job! How's it going?

CSA don't need to know unless it affects your payment receipts.
Presumably you haven't changed address or bank accounts.

You do need to inform your local council if you get council tax and/or Housing Benefit.

Have you spoken to the lone parent advisor at the job centre to ensure you're getting everything you're entitled too?

I think the CS is based on his income, not yours, so you don't need to!

Thank you Smile

Everything else is slowly getting sorted yes, although I am going to ring tax credits up because I am sure they have worked my wtc out wrong as it seems too much.

Housing and council tax are being a bit thick, so need to ring them again on Monday. I am entitled to the 4 week run on but they keep insisting that they need proof from the job centre, but it doesn't come from them it comes from IS, and they said they have already passed the info on.

The job is ok. I wouldn't say I am enjoying it yet, just taking it one day at a time.
I haven't worked for years and so tbh I want to cry most mornings atm, but apparently that is normal lol.

Glad you're still sticking with it Smile.

I keep a spreadsheet of any contact with the tax credits people just in case of any problems. IME they are fine just as long as you always update them when your work / nursery details as it happens, don't wait for renewal time.
