having recently ventured into the world of online dating, i was wondering if we should have a support thread here for anyone else who is dating or thinking of dating or even just to share horror stories of dates gone wrong.
I'll start, i haven't been on any dates yet. haven't come across anyone i like enough to suggest it. i have come across a few strange ones though. like the man who asked me if I'd like a twix 
(i have it on good MN authority that i wouldn't 
), or the man who when asked what traits his ideal woman would have he said "good taste in lingerie". fine if you're on date 17 but not on email no2.
also something i have been thinking about since beginning my adventure is about no no's. i have some definite no no's that would guarantee no further involvement. they are;
- someone who doesn't see or pay for their children (although i know distance can be a huge factor in the seeing bit so am willing to be flexible on that)
- someone who is clearly hung up on an ex
- excessive swearing. i know we are all adults but there is a limit to how many c*nts i wan't to hear about.
- someone who hates children and animals.
- someone who can't take criticism.
there are probably more but that's all that springs to mind.
so, does anyone want to join me?
