Any lone parents in dorset

I am a single mummy to my DS who is 3. I am looking for some new friends who have kids...feeling really alone of late and could do with some company and friends who also understand the commitment that being a lone parent requires!! Feel free to CAT me!!

where in Dorset are you? I left the Blandford area 18 months ago when I was 7 months pregnant with my second ds. I had been finding it really hard to meet people (single mum too) as I had only been in Dorset about 2 years and had moved about. Typically, it was only in the last 2 months of being there that I found some good playgroups and started to meet people. Let me know where you are, and I will see if I can suggest anything, hang in there, it is tough but where there is a will and all that...

sorry it's been a while I've been offline.
I can't really help you in that area although I do remember a tumbletots group in Poole, I think they advertised in the Blackmoor Vale, also try the leisure centres, I found loads of stuff going on there. You could also try sticking up a notice in the local library, especially if they have a good kids section.
