single parent using a known donor

I was wondering if there was anybody who was a single mother by a known donor. I am seriously thinking about it and would love to speak to others that have already taken the plunge.

Hi, I don't know anyone that is using a known donor but my friend is considering egg donorship, there are websites that have profiles of people and hobbies, interests etc and pictures so you can get to know the person. My friend is currently trying to get pregnant as she has problems ovulating, she is looking at this website: www.prideangel.co.uk have a look see what you think.

Thank you for wrighty im now a member of the group and I am looking into sperm donors. I had some really bad new today that the known donor i was going to use has decided to back out. Its really bad news but I believe everything happens for a reason for im giving the pride angel website a go.
