arghhh gilly! they have people hiding in the fountains?!!...

tho no - i dont do that, nothing as exciting.

youve been juggling three jobs aly? what did you have to give up?

and well done to ds1! city hospital tho - has he changed careers and become an actor?

alypaly · 30/07/2010 23:40

HI JTK.....been doing pharmacy dispensing, carer at an EMI home for alzheimers and dementia and then the head chef decided to have a holiday. The home manager conned me into believing i would be an assistant in the kitchen and i was left to cook for 32 clients single handedly. I am also doing part time autocad survey diagrams. Gotta keep the wolf from the door.
Knackered though!!!!!!!!!! going to my caravan for a nervous breakdown this weekend.

But i came home trembling on wednesday after running an unfamiliar professional kitchen. Although i was pleased with what i accomplished,it has made me feel very stressed since wednesday night.

He probably wishes he was an actooor as they sometimes make more dosh. Although he is going to do a diploma in cardiac medicine next year whilst he works, which will increase his pay eventually.

jamestkirk · 30/07/2010 23:51

wow well done!!! tho what a cheek conning you into running it. as for a nervous breakdown - isnt there a pub near the caravan? hope you have a great time and well earned rest! does sound appealing, i should be getting on with the car tomorrow but will probably have to work, theres just so much to do and already doing overtime every day.

have fun

alypaly · 02/08/2010 00:40

well rested, bottle of wine and a chineseand a spot of fishing to relax the brain.

ValiumSingleton · 02/08/2010 14:28

Jeez, steady on. YOu'll end up with a right loser if you don't rein in that fantasy about big strong arms.

I think I must have a heart of stone sometimes. Every night I get in to bed and I still feel grateful I have it to myself and there's no loser/bully/abuser/addict/selfish man in it.

OrmRenewed · 02/08/2010 14:30

I've got major back problems and a big chiro bill from falling asleep in a man's arms

I'd pay good money to have a bed to myself.

There are things I'd miss about DH but not the crick in the neck and the crippling pain in my shoulders

jamestkirk · 02/08/2010 23:31

sounds like a great wind down weekend - i worked saturday and cleaned sunday - living the dream

elastamum · 03/08/2010 13:47

I'd have to chuck the dogs out first though! This is my test of a man, do I like him enough to shut the dogs out of my bedroom - not met one yet, but working on it

compo · 04/08/2010 21:18

MrsMorgan · 05/08/2010 21:06

WheresMyWaistGone · 05/08/2010 22:11

Ha ha ha.

I get the snoring, flatulance, smacks in the face, kicks in the back, but also get lots of kisses and cuddles every morning...from the 2 year old who still shares my bed!

Would just loves kisses and cuddles of a different kind.

Sigh...

jamestkirk · 05/08/2010 23:44

MrsMorgan · 07/08/2010 11:17

Lol thank's James Grin

It is housekeeper/bit of everything person on a children's ward Grin

berries · 07/08/2010 12:04

MrsM, I know what you mean. I'm basically happy with my life but would love to have someone just to snuggle up with on the sofa. I just console myself with the thought that the last ten few years of my marriage I didnt get any cuddles either so at least I'm now in a position to look!!

Tentatively started internet dating - will see how it goes.

mittz · 07/08/2010 12:13

Another pining for for the skin to skin and sleepy bed messed hair, eye to eye 'hey you' of sharing with someone.

I am a hedgehog with mushy insides at the moment though so it would be something of a challenge for some poor bloke to get close to me..

Well done on the job MrsM, I just got a small one on top of my existing business, but the new one might open doors for me that I have struggled to even knock at over the last few years so Smile...

MrsMorgan · 07/08/2010 12:45

Good luck berries Smile internet dating has never worked for me but I know a few people who have met nice blokes online.

Congrats on your job Mittz. I think I am possibly too prickly now too lol. I don't believe a word men say anymore, or try not to lol.
