Parking options near Lambeth

I’m taking my Dad (Londoner) for a day out tomorrow, travelling from South Wales. First stop Imperial War Museum. Could anyone advise me on on street parking / side streets that we could walk from that would take us a couple of miles away from a tube station that would then get me to the IWM? Happy to walk a couple of miles in.

For ease I'd look at booking a parking space. If you pop the Imperial War Museum into it, there are several options around a 5 min walk away x Imperial War Museum Parking | Find Secure Parking in Seconds

Pretty sure street parking south of the IWM (Kennington side) is free on Sundays - although not certain so don’t hold me to it. You’d need to pay congestion charge though. If you don’t want to pay CC you could try on-street parking around Kennington tube and walk, bus or tube to Lambeth North. The A3 is CC free up to elephant and castle so any side street around there should be fine (maybe!). And it’s quite a nice walk to the IWM.

If I’m wrong and Kennington side streets aren’t free parking on Sundays then just head further south - around oval and Stockwell tubes are very definitely free on Sundays and congestion charge free.
