Any recommendations for beautiful and delicious celebration cakes (20 people) that we can order for delivery in central London?

No particular budget and looking for something stunning so open to all ideas.

TIA

Try Panzers in St John’s Wood

Thank you. It doesn't look like they do celebration cakes that can be personalised unless I've missed something.

It’s a good few years since I got one there. How about Selfridges food hall?

Konditor delivers in London or you can collect - been years since I had a cake from there as no longer nearby, but their Curly Whirly cake was exceptional.

Totally forgot about Konditor. Used to order them for office events! Thank you.

Second Konditor, fabulous cakes

Second Konditor.
I made two celebration cakes recently and by the time I’d bought the ingredients, box & board etc. it was the same price.

I need to try Konditor! 🎂

Hummingbird bakery is lovely and delivers

Hmm Konditor curly wurly is too rich and sweet for a celebration cake, though I guess you can get more out of it as people wouldn’t want a full slice!

For certainty of what you’re getting, there’s also Cutter and Squidge (which have pretty cakes and flavours) and Lola’s. Elan also do very pretty cakes.

😂😂😂

I very much have a sweet tooth and am definitely not someone who holds back with dessert, but do find the curly wurly overly sweet!

I do prefer the red velvet, or the one with raspberries on 🤩

I find it too rich as well but we'll try them before and I've always had good experiences with Konditor. I did look at Cuttler and Squidge as well, thank you.

I guess I was hoping for some independent bakery recommendations who can do something more bespoke but as you say, there's certainty from ordering the well known options.

I live in NW London but for the past few years I’ve used an independent baker who works from home. Her cakes are always beautiful and very tasty and several friends have used her after trying her cakes. You may be able to find similar local to you.
