Hi all,
This might be a very specific question but I am trying to understand if there is decent Indian community in Pitshanger (ealing) area. We are a young family with kids and looking to move to Ealing. Pitshanger in ealing largely fits all our requirements (green space, kids activities, good schools, decent connectivity to central london, shops, etc) but we are not sure if we will find any Indian families there. It is important for us that we have some Indian community local to where we live with whom we can share festivals, same culture, etc.

It is very hard to know this unless we live in the area for a while hence wondering if anyone can provide insights pls.

You might not get anyone replying who knows the answer as it’s such a specific question, maybe try joining a local Facebook group to ask? There are Indian people there I’m sure - it’s London, so you’ll find families from any culture! But not sure there are any organised activities.
Obviously you wouldn’t be far away from probably the biggest Indian community in London, in Southall.

My knowledge is dated but I would say probably, yes. There will be a much larger community in West Ealing and Southall, but whether that is your specific community I wouldn’t know.

The best thing to do is get on the Tube or train to Ealing and go there for the day. I suggest using public transport because you will learn far more about an area by doing this than by driving.

Or spend a weekend? There are hotels in Ealing I am sure.
