Oval/Stockwell area to live?

Hi there, I'm moving and looking at a place in this area. Wanted to know first hand experiences of it if anyone can help?

What do you want to know? Both are quite nice areas but a bit urban. Quite safe though. Good tube and bus links. Properties vary in both from local authority to Georgian. I go to an art class in Vauxhall and a lot of the attendees are residents nearby.

I lived in Stockwell for 8yrs ish pre covid. Is there a particular part you are looking at? Its changed a bit recently (for the better i'd say). Great for transport links. Really handy for the nightlife of Brixton and Clapham. Will you be getting the northern line for a commute? If so, better to go from stockwell as the trains are often already full at oval. Do you need to consider schools?

No kids yet. It is an estate off Brixton road. Yeah I need to get to Euston regularly for my job. I guess I just wanted a steer re vibe and energy. I've never loved Brixton. But Stockwell seems more relaxed
