Hi there!

Unfortunately it seems we have bed bugs. Currently just located in mine and my partners room (by the headboard) but could be elsewhere.

Have to say I’m fairly spooked, have all our clothes bagged and running through hot tumble dry cycles but would like to call in a professional to get it sorted- none have any recommendations in London? or just any recommendations to get rid of them? We are in an apartment so don’t think heat treatment is an option as can’t do the whole building.Thank you!!! 🙏🏼

If you're in SE London I can recommend Lady Bug. We used them for wasps in the loft.

I tecommend you buy some rubbing alcohol and a spray bottle and spray everywhere wooden in the affected area + everything professionally cleaned (duvet, bed sheets etc…)
we had professionals and while they did spray the entire house, the bed bugs came back many times (within a week or two) and they had to come back each time. Plus the house was a no go zone after each of their visit because the products they use is so toxic. Eventually a google search led me to rubbing alcohol. It was the perfect localised solution and the bed bugs never came back after just ONE application. Just be careful to open the windows fully because you can get quite tipsy from the sprayed alcohol in the air.
good luck

one If our tenants brought bed bugs into a rental property that is divided into 8 bedsits. It was our worst nightmare, especially as he was trying to blame us, even though none of the other tenants had them and he’d been in the room for years. We used First Call, because they do 3 treatments and guarantee their work for 6 months. They treated every room 3 times. The tenant also bought some powder. We didn’t get them back and thought the price was very reasonable considering the size of the house.

This is what the tenant bought from Amazon: Rockwell cimexa insecticide dust.
He seemed to think it was very good. Thankfully he has now moved on.
