Apartment near Spitalfields

Hiya,

I need to be near Spitalfields for a week, with my older teen DS and his mate. I think an apartment hotel thing would be best, so that we don’t have to live off hotel food. Can anyone recommend any good options ? Don’t really want to stay in the city as assume it’s pretty quiet in the evenings. But they won’t want to commute too far each morning / evening.

TIA for any recommendations! Been a long time since I was in London and that was SW, which I don’t think will work …

Spitalfields will be busy day or night anytime of the week. It’s obviously busier at the weekends when the markets in full flow but it can get uncomfortably crowded too. It’s a good base as it’s close to Brick Lane and Liverpool St. Have you looked at air b n b or booking . com? If won’t be cheap to stay around there. You could also look at staying outside of the city/London and travelling in by train. Some lines offer very quick journeys into Liverpool St and it would be a lot cheaper if budget is a consideration.

Thank you - I really fancy being in London, rather than commuting. I shall have a hunt around SF
