Best Areas in North London to Buy

Hi all - I am looking to get a 3 bed house in North London and my budget is about 650K. I looked around Palmers Green and Enfield but they don't feel very safe. What are the best areas in the North?

Try New/East Barnet. Nice parks, good transport, family friendly, good schools etc

Best areas are possibly out of your budget but Mill Hill, Stanmore, Pinner are all safe areas. You could also look at Bounds Green, I’ve never been but know people who live there and love it - close to Palmers Green.

Slightly suprised you find Palmers Green and Enfield unsafe... We lived in Palmers Green for 20 years. Never felt unsafe. Burgled once but no crime otherwise.

We're now in Southgate which is nicer and we love it. It has the usual London challenges but we'd not want to leave,

Palmers Green isn’t a unsafe area. I wonder which part you were looking at that made you feel uncomfortable. I’ve lived here for nearly 10 years and we’ve had no issues with crime.
you’d get a nice house for £650k, there a lovely community around Hazelwood Primary. It’s predominantly families round here.Lovely cafes and a great park!

Can you go east a bit? Walthamstow is lovely.
