Hi all, my family and I are looking to move out of our flat in central to a more family community area where we could afford a house. I’ve been scouring many areas in SW London. Richmond is just such low bang for your buck that we have been priced out of there. Fulham is lovely but it would be a wee house. Kew is nice but transport options are just as bad as Richmond if not worse. I’ve been keeping an eye on Chiswick, more specifically round the Glebe estate area and the houses there are gorgeous, but I’ve been looking at the crime stats around there and they have raised some concern for me. It’s still lower than the London average, but is there actually a portion of crime there (it suggested there was a few crimes per month in such a small area) or are these statistic websites blown out of proportion and not managed properly?
