Jesse's House

Hi all,

I won't be going back to work post mat leave and am already seeing that I'm going to need a little more space for my very active baby to move around a little more in the winter months. I'm missing the gym and there are none close to me with childcare options, and I've heard a few things about Jesse's house. Their marketing is super slick but some of the reviews I'm reading are mixed... does anyone have first hand experience? I won't be using it at the weekends, just a few days each week and would likely aim for quieter times.

Thanks!

We signed up for Jesse's house but always planned to cancel after the trial period (we live too far to make use of regular membership). I liked it, although I thought Jaego's House was nicer, and much bigger. We didn't use the gym or fitness facilities, we had a family swim in the pool and the dcs went in the soft play and kids club. We found it was hard to book kids classes during our trial as they were fully booked by the time we started.
Personally I'm not keen on the family club model as I chose classes for my dcs in different places and I think they are generally better than the in-house ones in a club. But if your main requirement is childcare while you use the gym then it would meet your needs. I would find the rule about not allowing outside food annoying and expensive if you were there every day.

Why not just take the trial and see if you like it? It was easy to cancel after 7 days and the initial payment is refunded in full.

Thanks for your response! Yes I’ll definitely do the trial at the very least. In terms of outside food does this include for babies too?
