Hi, we are. giving serious thoughts about relocating from London to Whitstable. It ticks many boxes for us and it truly feels lovely. We have no kids, one dog, my husband WFH and we are in our 50s. I will have to look for an admin job in the area as commuting to London is not something I fancy, however we are wondering how easy that would be. And also, as pretty as this all seems to be, what's winter like? Seasons tend to be quite manageable in London, in fact it rarely gets too windy or stormy. I imagine here might be rather different?
The locals seem to be lovely but is there much to do after summer? And in terms of work, can anyone recommend a good agency that would help me start a new career in the area? It feels like this could be a good move but also miles away from what London offers, despite all the DFLs saying they never regretted relocating here. I appreciate any tip or advice you may wish to share.
