St Katharine Docks is hosting the 'Nao Santa Maria' which arrives on 28th May and is open to the public from 29th May to 8th June. This is a replica of Christopher Columbus' flagship.

I'm fairly sure it will be moored in reasonably the same place as last year's visiting replica ship, el Galeón Andalucía so have linked to my old post about that https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/london/5181838-spanish-galleon-el-galeon-andalucia-replica-moored-near-tower-of-london-until-13-oct-2024

Also, if you check the tower bridge website, the bridge is due to be raised on 28th May at 14:30 to let it sail through.

I'm considering taking a day of annual leave to watch it with my toddler.

I think it's currently at Gravesend pontoon (according to Twitter) though it's not showing up on Shipfinder which is annoying. It'll go through Tower Bridge twice (once at 2.30, again at 3 in the opposite direction) so I think if you're at St Kat's you'll see it passing twice :)

I may well head into town later...
